Application development

I have gained some experience in developing web applications and have so far worked with the technologies PHP, C#, Javascript, CSS, X-HTML, XSLT, .NET/ASP, MySQL and several others in the field of web development. I am also keen to work with technologies I am not yet an expert in.

Until now, I have participated in the following projects:

• 
  OpenRide (CSS according to a Photoshop design pattern, XML, XSLT)
• A mobile cooperative ad-hoc hitchhiking management by Qiro for several Java-enabled mobile phones and for the desktop browser (an internal project in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Research Institute FOKUS, very similar to the new project OpenRide) (I have been working with .NET/ASP, SQL, I did the database design for the back-end and worked on some parts of the mobile client with Java-ME)
• 
  Fame MyLab, a demonstration platform containing some interactive elements (Joomla, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, browser compatibility, plug-in development)

Graphical Design

The following websites I designed and set them up, mainly for friends and family:

• 
  kombinart-barnim.de – a website for an association of artists of Barnim in Brandenburg Country, Germany (CMSms, CSS, HTML)
• paramentextil.de – a female artist in textile art, christian art and glass design from Biesenthal, Germany
• charakterköpfe.com – similar design, same artist
• 
  dsa.ameisenbar.de – a website to remember the German Students Academy (Deutsche Schülerakademie) 2002 in Rostock (with some contribution by Volker Grabsch)

There’s always a huge amount of attention I pay to a clean structure, easy maintainability, as well as to respect the web standars and maintain compatibility to the recent web browsers. On demand, I may also optimize web pages for older browsers as well.
